Soraya Rouchdi - Founder and Director

Soraya Rouchdi is a passionate, professional, certified preschool director and entrepreneur. She experienced the importance of languages, travel, and multicultural awareness at an early age. The valuable exposure to a bilingual environment and various cultures and countries allowed her to speak four languages fluently. Soraya enjoyed living and studying in France, Italy, North Africa, and the United States. Soraya pursued her college education in Paris and Lille (France), where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Lille III University.

Soraya was an active PTA member in the schools where her children attended; she was also an elected board member of Ridgeview Charter School and a Parent Chair of the science and math textbook committee. In addition to her volunteering and homeschooling activities, Soraya enjoys spending quality time with her family. She likes cooking international meals, reading, listening to world music, meeting friends, and Jazzercise.

Anays Pupo - Business Manager 

Anays Pupo is a native of Havana, Cuba. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Communication from the University of Havana and after finishing her studies, she moved to the United States in September 2011. She passed the Spanish GACE (Georgia Assessments for the Certification of Educators) at a professional level. Anays is very passionate about writing children’s stories and some of her previous work includes working as a journalist in a magazine for young adults. She has also worked as a volunteer at various schools to increase literary awareness among children. Anays also enjoys traveling very much. She admires the thrills of being in different countries and learning about their cultures.

Sami Rouchdi - Admissions

Sami Rouchdi was born in Versailles, France. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Management Systems Information Technology (MIST) at the University of Georgia. Sami has been helping out at DaVinci since he was in High School, assisting teachers during the Summer Camp in the early years and later inside the classrooms during the 2020-2021 school year. Sami has always been passionate about music, composing his own original pieces using his computer in his off time, and performing at concerts. While at school though, Sami is and always has been dedicated to providing the best possible experience for all students that come through the doors at DVIS!

Veronica Silva - 5K French Teacher

Veronica Silva was born and raised in Santiago, Chile, amidst a French and Chilean bilingual and bicultural environment. From very early on, she knew she wanted to become a Preschool Educator, fulfilling her vocation at the Catholic University of Chile.

She has had extensive experience in different schools, teaching in French, as well as in Spanish and in English as a second language during her career, most of it with 5-year-old children. She is a passionate educator who very much enjoys working with children and seeing them grow in skills, knowledge, and autonomy in a multicultural environment.

She along with her husband and her six children has lived in France, Israel, and the United States in different periods of her life having acquired a strong liking for diversity. In her free time, she enjoys doing handicrafts, specially mosaicking, patchworking, and scrapbooking.

Jovita Pedraza - 2K & G2 Spanish

Jovita Pedraza was born in Mexico and worked as a preschool teacher until she moved to Georgia when she was 18 years old. There, she obtained a degree in business administration. She is the mother of four amazing children who not only make her day brighter but have also given her experience and knowledge on childcare and education. In her free time, Jovita likes to practice sports, create art, write children’s stories and spend time with her family. She is an all-around outgoing, fun, and joyful person and she is very excited to be a part of the DVIS team.

Céline Bell - G1 French Teacher

Céline Bell was born in Burgundy, France. She is a dynamic educator who has worked with children in both France and the United States. She pursued her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music and Education from the Université Lumière in Lyon, France. Céline earned her teaching certification "CAPES" (Certificat d'aptitude Pour l'enseignement Secondaire) in Music Education from the French Ministry of Education (IUFM, l’Institut Universitaire de Formation des Maîtres). In France, she taught Music Education to middle school students and held the position of choir director for 11 years.  She also served as a teacher trainer and was asked to participate in numerous Kindergarten classes where she was able to develop her passion for project-based and interdisciplinary teaching approaches.

Céline moved to Atlanta from Paris, France in 2007 with her Franco-American family, and joined the DVIS team in 2010.  Since then, she has been focusing on implementing fun and innovative teaching methods for bilingual learners (from Pre-K to second grade). She believes in creating meaningful connections between different languages and keeping her students engaged at all times. Celine aims to engage her students in a wide but interconnected diversity of activities ranging from music, arts, role play, new technologies, science projects, creation of books to using the “outdoor classroom”.

Audrey Boulanger - 3K French Teacher

Audrey Boulanger was born and raised in Paris, before moving to Lille. With a background in pharmacy, she worked for five years in various pharmacies, acquiring valuable skills in the process.

In February 2022, Audrey moved with her husband to Atlanta, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in her life. Driven by the desire to explore another profession that fascinates her, she chose to become a teacher.She firmly believes that learning a new language is not just about acquiring language skills; it's about opening children's minds to new cultures and perspectives. Audrey is committed to this approach and is excited to play a central role in this educational journey with your children.

Outside the classroom, Audrey has a passion for climbing, hiking, and traveling. She is committed to education and her taste for adventure makes her a dynamic and inspiring teacher in our educational community. Audrey is very excited to be part of the DaVinci team!

Abigail Wardlaw - 2K & 3K English & Art

Born in Savannah, GA, Abigail Wardlaw pursued her passion for art at Georgia Southern University and Georgia State University, where she majored in Studio Art with a minor in Public Relations. Before college, Abigail spent 11 years dancing in various styles, including tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, and hip hop. She also excelled in competitive cheerleading, making it to the world championship finals before concluding her cheerleading career to focus on her studies.

Abigail is certified in the Comprehensive Orton-Gillingham program by the Institute for Multi-Sensory Education. With a deep love for both art and education, she is committed to helping children thrive and succeed in every aspect of their learning journey.

Marie De Salins - 4K French Teacher

Marie de Salins, a Paris native, is a certified French teacher with 15 years of experience.
With a diverse educational background, including a Bachelor of Law and a Master of Education earned in France, Marie combines her keen analytical skills with pedagogical expertise in her teaching approach.
Marie has dedicated the past decade to nurturing young minds at Da Vinci International School, where her passion for teaching and multicultural background enriches the learning environment. Her approach is characterized by creativity, empathy, and a deep understanding of child development, ensuring each student receives personalized care and education.
A dedicated researcher, Marie constantly seeks the best ways to teach and adapts her practices to ensure optimal learning experiences for her students.
Committed to their holistic development, she believes that school should be a second home where children find care and love alongside their academic pursuits.
Utilizing the rigorous French curriculum and embracing the Reggio Emilia approach to learning, she fosters a nurturing environment where students thrive both academically and emotionally.
Marie is attentive to every way a child can learn, recognizing the "hundred languages" of children and fostering their creativity and expression. A blank canvas at the beginning of the year, Marie's classroom belongs to the children to build.
Observing each child's self-esteem and pride growing is what moves Marie as a teacher.

Marie's dedication extends beyond the classroom, as she is also a proud parent to two children who are students at Da Vinci International School. This unique perspective allows her to appreciate firsthand the school's mission and values, enhancing her connection with both students and families.

Sara Askari - G4/5 English Teacher

Sara has felt a strong passion and love for teaching since her younger years. As young as fifth grade, she curated her own curriculum to teach herself and her peers to read and write in Farsi. Growing up, Farsi was spoken in the home and was her first language. Soon after, she learned English in school, then went on to study French and Spanish. In high school, Sara helped foreign students prepare for the SAT, ACT, and Compass tests by creating customized assignments, tests, and quizzes, helping them all get accepted to their schools of choice.

She went on to start her own linguistic tutoring business, teaching English as a Second Language, Spanish, French, and Farsi to children and adults privately. Aside from being a teacher and linguistics tutor, Sara considers herself to be a child advocate, believing strongly that children should feel heard, valued, cherished, and understood in order to feel safe and secure in their environments. She also believes that it is the job of the adults in their lives to teach them how to respect themselves and others in return. In her free time, Sara loves baking and decorating cakes, planning events, cooking, and decorating.

Laëtitia Briere - 2K French Teacher

Laëtitia is a native French speaker from Normandy, France. She has been married for 16 years and is happy to have two wonderful teenagers who are passionate about photography and cars.

She arrived in the United States two and a half years ago and currently resides in Gwinnett County.

Laëtitia holds a degree in Education and Social Assistance, specializing in inclusive environments for children with special needs and adults in social reintegration. She also has a certificate from the Federation of Native Languages USA, and a certificate as a child-friendly yoga teacher. With more than two decades of passion for yoga and especially country dance, salsa and many others are his source of rejuvenation and energy.

Her journey in the United States began as an assistant teacher, and she has since evolved into a dedicated teacher role for 2- and 3-year-olds. Witnessing the children's growth as they embark on their learning journey brings immense joy to Laëtitia. Every day, she finds comfort in the thought that nurturing their development is the most rewarding aspect of her profession.

Juana Quebrado - 2K Spanish Teacher

Emilie Kerhardy - 2K French Teacher

Emilie KERHARDY was born in Brittany, France.

She graduated as a nurse in France (2010). She arrived in the United States 2 years ago with her husband and 2 children. She taught French to several groups of children of different ages in an association in Roswell.

Passionate about sports and health, she is also a certified Personal Trainer / Fitness Coach.

In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling and practicing different sports (running, swimming, fitness, etc.).

Guillaume Le Droumaguet - G2/3 French Teacher

Guillaume, a Paris native, grew up amidst the picturesque landscapes of Brittany with his family. His academic journey led him to Nantes University, where he earned a Master's degree in Economics. However, his true passion lay in education, prompting him to pursue a teaching certification at IUFM de Nantes.

Guillaume's teaching career has been marked by enriching experiences at international schools. He spent 12 years imparting knowledge in Palo Alto, California, followed by the past four years at the International School of Boston. Now, he is thrilled to embark on a new adventure at Little Da Vinci School, eager to explore Georgia and contribute to its educational landscape.

Outside the classroom, Guillaume enjoys a vibrant social life. He loves dining out, meeting friends, and exploring big cities on his bicycle. Additionally, he often participates in charity bike rides, combining his love for cycling with a passion for giving back to the community.

Kenan LeParc - G4/G5 French Teacher

Born and raised in Paris, France, Kenan Le Parc moved to the US in 2008 when he transferred from the Sorbonne to Alabama via a soccer scholarship. After receiving his Master’s Degree in French Education K-12 at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), he moved to Ohio where is wife completed her residency, while he taught French (grades 5 through 10). In 2018, Kenan moved to Atlanta with his wife in order to be closer to her family. Kenan received an opportunity to be the lead trainer for a Dog Training company, where he worked until joining Da Vinci in the summer of 2024.

Kenan has also kept up with his passion for soccer as you may have seen him on the playground coaching the soccer aftercare program this past year, or coaching club soccer in Atlanta as well as in different schools in Birmingham, AL, and Columbus, OH.

During his free time, he loves to travel and spend time with his wife and three daughters. He also loves to take his two dogs (Arya and Sansa – Britanny spaniels) on walks in their neighborhood.

Stephanie Anderson - G1 English Teacher

Stephanie Anderson is a dedicated educator in her fifth year of teaching, with experience across K-5th grade English. A proud graduate of Clark Atlanta University with a degree in English, Stephanie furthered her education with a Master’s Degree from Emory University, where she specialized in biblical languages, including Greek and Hebrew. She is thrilled to bring her passion and expertise to the Da Vinci International School community and looks forward to inspiring her students with a love for language and learning.
